I am looking forward to reading this book but I’m disappointed that a lot of the pre-publication blurbs say that there hasn’t been an English language biography since 1941. This isn’t true as Sophie Shorland’s biography “The lost queen, the surprising life of Catherine of Braganza Britain’s forgotten monarch “came out last year
Unfortunately, this was written before Shorland’s book was published. From what I understand, this new biography will be different and cover other topics in more depth.
